Right now, Wilson Oil and Propane is looking to expand its team of certified and experienced service technicians.

Based in Wallingford, Wilson Oil and Propane is a full-service, family-owned home comfort company that has been serving the residents of southeastern Pennsylvania since 1926. All of the technicians who work for Wilson are certified heating and cooling experts, trained to diagnose and fix virtually any home comfort system problem. They install and service a wide range of products, including boilers, furnaces, duct sealing, generators and air conditioning systems.

General Duties for Our Service Technicians

These include:

• perform annual tune-up of oil, gas and electric heating systems, replacing air and oil filters, replacing nozzles and strainers, vacuuming soot from heating systems, flue pipes, and chimney base, checking all safeties and combustion
• diagnose and repair gas, oil, and electric heating systems and respond to emergency service calls
• review completed repairs with the customer, explain what you found and ask if the customer has any other concerns before leaving; recommend future repairs or upgrade when needed
• set sales appointments with the office or when not available. put sales lead into the computer for follow up
• communicate with office when follow-up service may be needed
