Commercial Heating Oil In the Delaware Valley

B20 Bioheat Plus® Fuel for Your Heating Needs

Since 1926, Wilson Oil & Propane has provided commercial heating oil delivery to businesses large and small throughout the Greater Philadelphia area. Today, our commercial customers can rely on us for reliable delivery of B20 Bioheat Plus® fuel. This is your best choice if your business depends on heating oil equipment for heat or hot water.

Bioheat® is the industry’s official registered name for its clean-burning, low-emissions fuel. Bioheat fuel is a blend of ultra-low-sulfur heating oil combined with biofuels made from renewable resources like animal fats, recycled restaurant cooking oils, algae and plant oils. Our B20 Bioheat Plus fuel is made from locally sourced products, which aids in reducing waste within our communities.

The “B20” part of B20 Bioheat Plus fuel represents the percentage of the fuel made with biofuels. This means that our Bioheat fuel contains 20% biofuels. This high level of biofuel is why B20 Bioheat Plus fuel burns extremely clean. In fact, it generates fewer greenhouse gas emissions than a natural gas system.

Bioheat fuel also reduces carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions by up to 86% compared to traditional petroleum heating oil. You won’t lose any heating power with Bioheat fuel either. On the contrary, it burns much more efficiently. Bioheat fuel has the highest Btu content of any alternative fuel.

Moving forward, we expect the percentage of biofuel in our Bioheat fuel to keep increasing. The heating oil industry has committed to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 due to the increased use of Bioheat fuel with higher blends.

4 Ways Bioheat Fuel Saves Your Business Money

Bioheat fuel adds value in multiple ways because of the following:

• You will use less fuel to get the same amount of warmth or hot water.
• Your heating system(s) should last longer.
• You may need fewer repairs on your system(s).
• You may also be able to extend the time between heating system maintenance.
