If there are spaces within your home where installing duct work is not possible, there are still options for you to enjoy superior comfort year-round. Not only are ductless systems perfect for hard to cool or heat areas of your home, they also give you the option to cool or heat only the rooms that you’re using, saving money and energy. Ductless systems are becoming an increasingly popular choice for creating indoor comfort.

Ductless systems, also known as ductless split-systems, use one small quiet outdoor compressor unit, can have up to eight separate indoor units consisting of a coil and a fan that can be mounted on walls or recessed in ceilings operated with a remote control. Ductless systems are connected by refrigerant lines and require minimum ductwork.

Today’s ductless systems are remarkably efficient and environmentally friendly. Specially designed air vents efficiently reduce sound to provide quiet comfort and the use “green” refrigerant that cannot harm the ozone. Ductless systems can use as little as one third of the energy of conventional cooling and heating equipment.

Installing a ductless system is not only easy, but it allows for flexibility in where you deliver heating and cooling in your home without the use of ductwork. A ductless system is a great solution for homes without a central heating/cooling system.

Since there is minimum ductwork to install, it’s easy to add a reliable ductless unit to any home. It’s an economical and efficient option for homes without an existing duct system making installation quicker and cleaner. They can also be added to your existing system and are perfect for challenging areas of your home or business, such as converted attics, additions, or basements.
