If you care about the environment, you can feel good about getting your heating oil from Wilson Oil and Propane.
We only deliver Bioheat® fuel to our heating oil customers. This is a clean alternative to conventional heating oil, and our B20 blend produces fewer greenhouse gas emissions than natural gas.
Bioheat is a mix of ultra-low-sulfur heating oil and biodiesel, which is made from renewable resources like animal fats, plant oils, algae and recycled cooking oils. Made in the United States, Bioheat supports local farms and local economies.
Bioheat requires no modifications to your system, no big expenditure on new equipment and reduces your carbon footprint. Plus, efficient and clean-burning Bioheat saves you money on fuel and equipment service.
We expect the percentage of biodiesel in our Bioheat to keep increasing as we head toward delivering a net-zero carbon emissions fuel.
As efforts to reduce fossil fuel use and greenhouse gas emissions remain a top priority in the heating oil industry, more people are gaining an understanding of what it all means—and the great importance of this progress.
Last year, over 300 leaders from our industry gathered at the Northeast Industry Summit, which took place as part of the Heating & Energizing America Trade (HEAT) Show. They passed a resolution that laid out what the industry’s progress needs to look like over the next 30 years.
