Our annual Fueled Up & Fired Up Pick 5 Challenge—and the many other events we participate in throughout the year—provide us with great opportunities to meet our friends and neighbors, stay involved and give back to the communities we love to serve.
This year’s Fueled Up & Fired Up Pick 5 Challenge will be held on Saturday, October 17, and we are expecting it to be our biggest event ever!
As you may know, we founded the Pick 5 Challenge to benefit the Nether Providence Township First Responders (including the Nether Providence Police Department and volunteer fire companies of South Media and Garden City) and Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Philadelphia chapter.
Last year’s Pick 5 Challenge drew hundreds of participants and raised more than $19,000. In just four years, we have raised in excess of $66,000, plus an additional $25,000 just for Susan G. Komen through our Pink Truck campaign.
If you would like to participate in a walk, run or kids’ race this year, please visit our Fueled Up & Fired Up Pick 5 Challenge page.
All pre-registered participants will receive a race T-shirt, and there will be breakfast and lunch for participants and their families. You can also count on fun and games for the kids, prizes for each age group, a raffle and more. Whether you plan to walk/run or not, you won’t want to miss out on the fun and excitement, so please mark your calendar for October 17.
